This handcrafted glass ring is inspired by the fascinating world of corals, capturing the depth and movement of the underwater world in a clear, modern form. Inside the glass, the lampwork implosion technique creates a detailed, three-dimensional coral structure – vibrant, layered, and full of depth.
The high-quality borosilicate glass encloses the delicate structures like a protective water bubble. Depending on the light, shimmering colors and subtle reflections emerge, reminiscent of a flourishing coral reef. The clear glass dome gives the ring a serene, almost floating appearance, drawing the eye precisely to its interior.
Each ring is crafted in my studio in Greifenstein only after your order. I work with great care to make each piece as identical as possible. However, small differences in the color, depth, and structure of the coral implosion cannot be completely avoided. These subtle variations are part of the artisanal process and make each ring unique.
